The Founder's Promise
At POOJAPATHA, technology is a new medium for an ancient vibration. We handle the logistics of the ritual so families can stay fully present in devotion, with the same sanctity, purity, and heart our ancestors intended.
Vision
To become India's most trusted, accessible, and comprehensive platform for traditional spiritual and religious services.
Mission
To empower modern Indian families with authentic ritual solutions while uplifting Vedic scholars and rural artisans through a respectful, technology-enabled ecosystem.
Rituals are guided by Vedic discipline, muhurat awareness, and experienced pandits rather than ad-hoc arrangements.
Pricing, service scope, and process expectations are easier to understand than the unorganized offline market.
Customer and partner apps support scheduling, status tracking, communication, and service clarity.
Pooja Offerings
Explore live ritual packages from the PoojaPatha catalog, including real pricing, categories, and package imagery from the backend.
How It Works
Booking a puja takes a few minutes. Here is how it works, from choosing the ritual to the day itself.
Browse the pujas on this page or in the app, and read what each one includes.
Choose a time at least 2 days ahead, or 1 to 2 weeks ahead for festivals.
Check the details, add any extra samagri and pay securely on the website or in the app.
A verified pandit is assigned and comes to your home with everything ready on the day.
The pandit performs the ritual with you, and you can rate the puja afterwards in your bookings.
Technology Platform
The business profile presents PoojaPatha as a two-sided spiritual platform, where customers get simplicity and trust while pandits and partners get structure, visibility, and steadier opportunities.
The Four Pillars
The profile positions PoojaPatha as more than a booking utility. It is a larger ecosystem where devotion, verified service, artisan support, and fair economic participation reinforce each other.
We modernize the traditional purohit experience through intuitive digital booking and in-person ritual delivery.
The platform brings a Shuddhata-first mindset to ritual products with quality, traceability, and convenience.
The business model preserves tradition while making sacred services easier to access for modern families.
Technology expands access while creating fairer participation across the spiritual services ecosystem.
The Challenge
Families struggle to find verified pandits, transparent pricing, standardized service quality, and accessible spiritual support when living away from hometowns or outside India.
The Opportunity
A trustworthy digital platform can organize the spiritual services sector, preserve Vedic authenticity, and make sacred rituals more accessible for modern families and the global Indian diaspora.
Got Questions?
Everything you need to know about booking authentic Vedic rituals through PoojaPatha. Can't find your answer? Reach out to our support team.
PoojaPatha is a website and app for booking verified pandits for Hindu pujas at your home. You choose the puja and the date, and we arrange the pandit and the samagri. Prices are shown before you pay, and our team stays in touch with you until the puja is done.
Choose a puja, pick a package, then choose a date and time. Add any extra samagri, enter your address, check the details and pay. We then assign a verified pandit and confirm everything with you before the day. You can book on this website or in the PoojaPatha app.
Yes. Every pandit is checked before they can take bookings. We verify their identity and background, check their training, and test their knowledge of Vedic rituals. Only pandits who meet our standards for knowledge and conduct join the platform, and reviews from families after each puja help us keep those standards high.
You can book most Hindu pujas and rituals. These include Griha Pravesh, Satyanarayan Katha, Navagraha Puja, Ganesh Puja, Lakshmi Puja, Rudrabhishek, havan, naming ceremonies, thread ceremonies and rites for the departed. See the pujas section on this page for the full list, with prices and what each one includes.
It depends on the package. Some packages include a full samagri kit, and others let you add samagri as an extra. Each puja's page lists exactly what is included, so you know before you pay. When samagri is part of your booking, it is delivered to your home before the puja.
Yes. If you live outside India, you can book an online puja. The pandit performs the ritual live over a video call, and you take part from wherever you are. You choose the date and pay online in the same way as any other booking, and our team confirms the details with you.
Book at least 2 days before the puja. That gives us time to assign a pandit and get the samagri ready. For festivals and auspicious dates (muhurtas), book 1 to 2 weeks ahead, because those days fill up quickly. Booking early also gives you a better choice of times.
Yes. You can move a paid booking to another date from your bookings page, up to 24 hours before the puja and up to two times. An unpaid booking can be cancelled there at any time. To cancel a paid booking, contact our support team, and we will arrange a full or partial refund depending on the situation.
Every price is shown before you pay, with no hidden charges. The price covers the pandit's fee, the samagri in your package and taxes. Extra samagri and other add-ons are listed separately, so you decide what to add. The total you see before paying is the amount you pay.
Our team assigns a verified pandit who suits your puja, date and location. If you would like a pandit from an earlier booking, or have another preference, tell our support team when you book. We will try to arrange it, but it depends on that pandit being free on your date.
Contact our support team as soon as you can after the puja. We will listen, look into what went wrong and talk to the pandit. Depending on the situation, we can arrange a full or partial refund. You can also rate the puja and leave a review from your bookings, which helps other families.
We work only with pandits trained in traditional lineages (sampradayas) who know the scriptures for each ritual. Every puja follows the correct procedure (vidhi), with the proper Sanskrit mantras, and respects your family's regional customs. If your family follows a particular tradition, tell us when you book and we will plan around it.
Our pandits speak many languages, including Hindi, Sanskrit, Telugu, Tamil, Kannada, Malayalam, Marathi, Bengali and Gujarati. If you would like the puja explained in a particular language, tell our support team when you book, and we will try to assign a pandit who speaks it. The mantras themselves are recited in Sanskrit.
Yes. You can book an online puja that the pandit performs live over a video call. The pandit sets up the ritual at a sacred space or at their home, and you watch and take part from yours. This suits families who live abroad or far from their hometown.
You can pay by UPI, credit or debit card, net banking or popular wallets. Payments go through a secure, encrypted payment gateway, so your card and bank details stay safe. You pay when you confirm the booking, and you can find the receipt in your bookings afterwards.
Yes. You can book pujas for life events such as Griha Pravesh (housewarming), Vivah Panchami, Mundan, Upanayana and other samskaras. For bigger ceremonies that need several pandits, a specific muhurta or a larger setup, contact our team. We will help you plan the details and the right arrangements for the day.
Start with the puja's page. It explains why the ritual is done, how it is performed, when it is usually held and what each package includes. If you are still unsure, message us on WhatsApp or use the contact form, and our team will help you choose the right puja and package.
Yes. We buy samagri from trusted local suppliers and craftspeople who make traditional ritual items. This helps keep old crafts alive and supports the families who make them. It also means the items used in your puja are genuine, traditional and fairly sourced, from people we know and work with.
Yes. Your personal details are stored securely and never sold to anyone. We follow the data protection laws that apply to us. Payments are handled by PCI-compliant payment gateways, and we never store your card details on our servers. You can ask us to delete your account at any time from your account page.
Pandits can apply on the PoojaPatha Partner Portal or in the PoojaPatha Partner app. Our team checks each application and verifies the pandit's identity and training. We then help approved partners set up their profile, and they manage their bookings, schedule and payments in one place.
